VBS 2023 DETAILS

DATES AND TIMES:

• VBS will be held July 17-21, 2023
• Activities will run 9 AM-12 PM Monday-Thursday, and 9 AM-12:30 PM on the Friday
• Drop-off is at 8:30 AM each day

LOCATION: 

• VBS will be held at St. Aloysius Church (125 E. Pleasant Ave., Tulare) and School
• Morning drop-off will be in the SCHOOL PARKING LOT (along Pleasant Ave., just east of the Church)
• Afternoon pick-up will be in THE CHURCH

AGES:

• VBS Participants: Students entering grades Kindergarten through 7th
  • Note: A "preschool" option is offered for the children of volunteers, even if the children are not yet school-aged. Preschool children must be potty trained, and must be associated with an adult volunteering for all 5 days (adult volunteer will be assigned to a role other than preschool). If the participant is entering Kindergarten, no associated adult volunteer is required.
• VBS Youth Volunteers: Students entering grade 8, high school and college, up until age 21
• VBS Adult Volunteers: Adults, 22+

SUPPLY DONATIONS/T-SHIRT AND CD PICK-UP:

• As in past years, we would greatly appreciate the donation of supplies, or monetary donations to help purchase supplies. A detailed Supplies Donation "Sign Up" list will be available shortly. 
• Supply Donation Drop-Off, as well as T-Shirt and Music CD pick-up, will be on Saturday, July 15 in the St. Aloysius School Cafeteria

• Attire: Attire for the week is casual. All participants and volunteers are required to wear their VBS T-Shirt each day. Please do not alter the VBS T-Shirt in any way.
• Food & Drink: A snack and water is provided each day. Please do not bring any personal water bottles from home.

• There will be a MANDATORY informational meeting for all volunteers on Thursday, July 13 at St. Aloysius Church - SAVE THE DATE!
• Format for the meeting is going to be different this year, food and fun activities will be provided!
