Tessie Griesbach teaches second grade, she is the co-founder and faculty advisor for God’s Green Garden, the Yearbook Coordinator, and the Mentor Teacher for St. Aloysius School. She has been a teacher since 1992, and joined the St. Aloysius teaching staff in 2000 (replacing her very own second grade teacher, Mrs. Maness, when she retired).
Griesbach received her Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Development from San Diego State University, attending classes at the University of New Hampshire for one of those years through participation in the National Exchange Program. She holds a Professional Clear Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from National University in Fresno, as well as a Basic Catechist Certification from the Diocese of Fresno. She is also CPR and First Aid Certified.
She and her husband Billy, who have been married since 1991, met in first grade while they were both students at St. Aloysius School. Their two children also attended St. Aloysius School.
Outside of the classroom, she enjoys trying out new recipes in the kitchen with her daughter, and sewing blankets while praying for those in need of physical or emotional healing as a member of the St. Aloysius Church Prayer Blanket Ministry.
Favorite Fundraiser: Fashion Show Luncheon, because it brings back fond memories of modeling as a former St. Aloysius School student, decorating thematic tables as a St. Aloysius School parent, and watching her two children model while they were students at St. Aloysius School.
